
About The Founder

Johana Dauphin is an alumna of Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs with a concentration in Urban and Regional Planning. She is passionate about education equity, civil rights, civic engagement, and grassroots organizing.
She has extensive experience in public policy, having served with the Harris-Walz Campaign, the White House Domestic Policy Council, the Florida House of Representatives, and the U.S. House of Representatives..
In the field of education, Johana has been a dedicated advocate against the Stop WOKE Act, book bans, and anti-DEI initiatives, using public testimony, student organizing, and legal action as a plaintiff in Pernell v. Florida Board of Governors. She has also worked as an educator in some of Washington, D.C.’s most underserved public schools.
She serves on the Telluride Association’s Board of Directors, chairing the Alumni Development Committee for graduates of the Critical Black Studies summer programs. Additionally, she acts as a Critical Black Studies Factotum, facilitating intellectually rigorous educational experiences for high school students.
Johana is driven by a commitment to educational equity, recognizing that systemic barriers continue to leave marginalized students under-resourced and underserved.
